He looked at her, his orbs bright again. He hadn't seen the dove so happy. It made him happy. He was glad that she was happy and that she would stay. And it all started with that conversation he wasn't sure he wanted to make. There was no such thing as a coincidence! He nudged her. He loved the change of mood! He loved Sura even more though. He put his head low to calm himself so that he could control himself from running. He then lifted his head again.
OOC: Bad post! ARRG!

Contessa nuzzled him and smiled. That was one of the boldest things she'd ever done, well social wise anyway. All that mattered was that she was safe and that Exclusive was here with her. nothing else was important right now.
" So, if I can ask, where did you live before you came here?" Nothing better than a little conversation at the best and worst times alike. Twin peaks were relaxed, though optics were still slightly white rimmed widened from her tumble. It was an instinct to fear the worst for Sura, but she was doing her best to not let that bring her down.

He thought about that. It was a difficult question and he had to close his eyes for a moment to keep back the more horrifying memories. I was born in a stable that only wanted the highest quality horses, my mom fit the discription but not me. But they kept me for a year and then a fire killed all the horses but me. I lived on my own five years then came here. He left out the more terrifying scenes. He opened his eyes again. he looked at Sura hard trying to get the picture of his dam out of his mind. And may I ask you Sura? His tone was polite. If she wasn't ready to tell that was fine.

"I... Well, I... Sura stammered as she thought back to her past. should she tell him? No? Yes? She trusted him, but she wasn't sure if she could. Maybe it would be good to get it off her chest, but then maybe it would just start trouble. "He was brave... I can be too." Before she could change her mind, Sura started.
"I was born into a world of prejudice. Everyone saw me as a, well a freak. No one would talk to me but my mother and my brother. Except for one day, someone did. We became best friends, until... until she." Susurra gulped and kept tears from falling, died." The maiden looked at him as if wondering if he still wanted to know, but she couldn't let herself quit. Soon lots of others started dieing, from very odd reasons. Rigth before they... passed away they were around me. It happened like that until it was just my brother and I. We came all the way here togther, and then one day we were playing tag, I was only two, and he..." She couldn't help it anymore. She started to cry. "He fell off the cliff."
Sura looked at him through watery eyes, and blinked the last tears away. "I... You know, I feel so much better now that I told someone." She had no clue how he'd react to her now that she'd told him the whole story, minus the details.

Not sure if he was more shocked by her story or her tears, the large stallion nudged her and put his mug on her face trying to comfort her. He felt bad for the little mare, then he realized he should be afraid. But he couldn't make himself be afraid. If he died today and even if the mare did it on purpose he was willing to take that risk. He would die for her easily. But he didn't think it would come to that. He could watch out for himself. Im glad you told me Sura. But it still doesn't matter. Nothing you can say will make me not love you. You could walk out on me now and I would let you if it made you happy. But I would be miserable. Every word was true. As it turns out this mare had a lot on her shoulders. Mabey that was what had been weighing her down... Mabey he could help. OOC: I love this thread! It is so sweet!

ooc: Isn't it though? I love it, too. Time to ruin it... Muhahaha lol jk I have to go. Sura giggled a little. "Exclusive, you're to good to be true, but yet, you're standing right there." They may have not known each other for months, but Sura knew that she was very fond of Exclusive. His past was interesting, yet sad. She didn't really know what to say anymore. She just wanted to everything to be okay. Hopefully it would, and she was going to do her best to make it.

He smiled at what she said. His brown and white mug tuging at the corners. Sura. I feel the same way for you and always will. He paused as three hummingbirds came and circled them. He laughed.
OOC: really bad ugg...

A cool breeze tunneled through the cave, lifting Sura's spirits, though they were already soaring. Somewhere off in the far distance a cougar screeched. It echoed through the tunnel, ringing in the maiden's harks. Muscles tensed up, hardening like rocks. If it were to find her, she was as good as dead, but Susurra cooled her jets when the sound never came again. Perhaps it had already found its meal.
Blue pools looked out toward the stream again. Something told her she was going to be fine, though she wasn't sure what. For once in her life, Sura wasn't worried about what was going to happen tomorrow or the next day to put her down. Cremello blanket glimmered with the light of the crystals. Shadows danced on the walls as clouds rolled over the moon. Lids fluttered over drowsy optics as Sura waited for sleep to claim her from her stressful day. "I'll wake up to a better tomorrow." At least, she hoped she would.

At the sound of the enemy cat, Exclusive pinned his brown ears against his magnificent crown. He would have jumped up and ran after it but he didn't want to leave Sura. He snorted and relaxed. If it came anywhere near the two it would be dead. Not many animals came into the caves because they knew the stallion would hurt them if they were caught. A few deer were welcome though. And quiet often you would see a heard protecting themselves from the lions. Exclusivee turned his head to see a sleeping Sura. He was glad she was sleeping. It had been a long day for her.

The sun had risen to let its glory down upon the young fae and the painted knight. It had been two days since her fall; the pain had been immense yesterday, but today it was starting to feel better. In fact, she could walk on it a little now. Funny how those things work like that, huh? Surprisingly, time was passing pretty fast, or so it felt like. Sura smiled at Exclusive. She wasn't going to bring him down anymore; the cremello dove nuzzled him and started to limp her way around. She wasn't cringing anymore, and Sura knew that the more she walked on it, the faster it would heal.
"So, is there anything else you'd like to show me?" Jeweled lanterns took on an expression of curiosity as tunes were emitted in their customary whisper.

The splashed steed thought of all the many caves and meadows. This was his favorite cave and his favorite meadow was just a short walk away... There is a meadow not far from here. That is if you take the short cut. The path he reffered to as the 'short cut' was in the cave here. It was a flat level surface and beautiful, with all the gems. Excitement grew in his black orbs as he looked at her. But was her leg okay enough?
