OOC: Done Ic : Her orbs danced around as she watched him step closer. He was so friendly and easy to be with. Most stallions she had met had been arrogent, selfish and way to cocky. Her thoughts drifted to one stallion whom thoughthe was faster then all others. She challenged him to race and she had won at a canter! She tossed her head at the memory. Judgement, There must be a ton of beautiful places here. Do you have a favorite?

He thought about her question for a few moments. His maw parted ask he answered her. I have many places that I enjoy. I love it here, in the woods, and the fields and meadows. It's hard to choose just one spot, but this is one of my favorite places to be. He answered her softly. It was true. He loves his whole territory and though he had many many spots that he could choose from, he liked being by the river but then he also liked being in the forest and out in the meadows. It was hard for him, and probably for the others to just pick one spot that they liked more than the others. He smiled at her and said What about you? Have you seen a spot that is your favorite yet? He asked her. Maybe she had seen a spot that she liked already... He didn't know, he waited for her answer while looked at the river water drift down.

She liked his answer. It was true and honest. She tilted her head to the right as she thought. I would have to agree. I've always enjoyed the forest. But the meadows are wonderful here for running. Ugg... That stupid thought came into her head again. running... It would ruin her she sweared. But it was so wonderful to feel the wind on you face and the sun on your back.....

He smiled by her reply. He could tell that she liked running...a lot. His banner flicked about happily as his orbs looked over the terrian. He was so glad that he had decided to claim this territory as his own before another stallion did, and he could see that it was worth it too. All of his mares loved the territory just as much as he did which was good. He wanted to give them a safe and homey enviroment to live in, and he wanted foals to also be safe while they grew up. It thrilled him at the thought of sireing foals but then again, what stallion wouldn't? But, he wasn't like all of the other stallions, he wouldn't force any mare that didn't want to be bred into sireing his foal. It would be totally up to them. He smiled as he looked at her wondering what was going on through her mind.

Judgement. I wonder where he is from? Most horses have some interesting thing about their past. She pondered on this thought a moment. The Thoroughbred side of her clearly showing. I wonder how long he has lived here. And how many other mares there are. Who is the Queen. The thought suddenly made her nervous. She had heard from many mares that the stallion was easy to become friends with but the lead mare was another story. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. Figuring they should be conversing she brought up one of her earlier thoughts, Have you always lived in these parts?

He turned to her. No. I used to be just a plain old wanderer until I finally came to these lands. When I looked around in the territory I knew this would be a perfect place to start a herd. So I claimed it as my own and now I get to have wonderful mares, such as yourself, come to live here with me here and give everyone a second chance in life. He said happily. He thought that it would be the start of a new life himself because wandering around all your life, isn't a real life to live at all. At least, that was how he saw it...

Her misty cheeks tyrned a shade darker, a horses way of blushing. She turned away so that he wouldn't see the heat that flushed through her face. I have met few wanderers. I was one myself awhile. Its not to bad if you have company. She smiled as she thought back. She was not to ashamed of her past. It made no sense to her why she should.

He stayed where he was, but turned his head toward her. Do you still know where they are? Maybe they could come here to live, of course, that would be up to them... he said. It would be nice to have some of her friends join the herd. At least she would know some horses, and they could catch up on things. His banner flicked happily about waiting for her reply.
ooc: sorry not a lot of time....

She looked up into his friendly eyes then looked at the ground a moment. Soon her orbs were back upong him, Expressionless. They died. She spoke as if it was no big deal. She wasn't sure herself whether or not it was. She didn't think of them often. But when she occasionally did it made her sad. Right now the mood was to happy and she didn't want to change that.

His banner stopped dead in it's swaying tracks. It layed behind him motionless. Death was such a powerful thing, and he was surpised that she acted the way she did when she said it... Oh....I'm sorry..... he said. How long ago did her friends die? It had to maybe be a little while ago for her reaction...he didn't understand. He was slightly confused but also curious about how they died, or what happened to them, but it would be rude for him to ask such a question. It would be painful for her to answer no doubt...

She took in his reaction. Seeing the curiosity in his eyes she did somewhat of a shrug. I was bron wit the humans. They didn't want me because of something called 'crossbred' whatever that means. But anyways they were giving me to a new leader. I didn't like him. No respect at all. And I took off. I found a mule named Charles. He was my friend but he was old and died in the Arizona heat, The Giant dogs tearing him apart, I tried to protect him but knew the same fate was waiting for me if I stayed. So Being the coward I am I ran off. She spoke in a monotone. She hadn't told anyone before and it sounded pretty bad. She did her horse shrug again, watching his reaction. Quirky had been a coward. And maybe if she had stayed Charles would still be alive. She snorted to try and clear that thought. It didn't work.

He listened intently to her. "That's horrible the way he treated you. I think that you are fine just the way you are." He paused a moment. "Quirky... Don't blame yourself for the death of Charles. You did what you thought was right, and, the heat can be curical on older horses." He said. He didn't want her to think that she killed him, when really it was just the heat. The poor old horse probally had a heat stroke before the pack of dogs came... And it would have been hard for any horse to fight off a whole back of wild beasts. His banner flicked as he took a step over to her. He nuzzled her softly comforting her.
