Susurra So where's my four-leaf clover? Optics hued of the morning sky absorbed everything and everyone they could come by. The beauty of the newly blossomed flowers and songs of birds were lost to the paranoid fretting of a young mistress. Even when snowy stilts had ceased moving, they shook ever so slightly. Youthful optics were shadowed with fear. Yet, if you looked hard enough, you would see someone totally different than the timid maiden she appears to be. Many would not take that time, only leave her there to have only her hope, but maybe, just maybe, someone would come along who actually cared... There was always that bad egg that could stumble upon her, but let' not dwell on that. Susurra's had enough bad luck to last anyone a lifetime or two.
Ribbons of a soft white swirled in he light spring breeze while the last of autumn's leaves tumbled across the terra. Above her the branches of a small cherry tree bent with the wind as pink blossoms rained down on her. The reason Sura had chosen this particularly tree to stand by was that it made her look taller. Instead of looking like some gimpy horse that happened to be a pony's height, well, a really tiny pony's height, Sura could pretend she was at least fifteen hands high. It was just her luck that her destined height be... petite, to put it nicely. Like a mouse, this white-washed bella doe not say much, unless there's something about you that makes her feel safe... or if you happen to be doing something she can't stand, let's say bossing her around. All the same, it takes a lot of taunting to get her to yell. Maybe patience is her one virtue.
Lids closed over sapphire lanterns. Appearing in the blackness was the image of her brother, not the same one that was left behind. He looked so much stronger, so much older. How Susurra wished there was still someone to watch over her, but there was not. As anyone could guess, that was why she was here. Sura longed for someone to speak to her, even if it was some cold-hearted crook. She'd been alone for so long that it didn't matter. Besides, while she may be a shrimp compared to everyone else, Susurra was intelligent and crafty.. Thinking her way out of a bad situation was not all that hard, but thinking her way into a good one was impossible. All the porcelain contessa could do now was wait. Paint washed stallion walked forward into he claiming grounds he had come to know so well. He had been here, waiting for quiet sometime. Most mares here were dark and unworthy. He had met some neutrals to. And they were very pleasant to be with. But no lights. His black orbs scanned the terrain. No mares were in sight until they came upon the smaller mare. She seemed pleasant enough so he walked toward her, his painted limbs moving with ease. He came up to the white washed mare.
Hello miss,
He started. Up close she was much more beautiful then far away. And although there was a size difference, he supposed that didn't mean anything. What mattered was the heart inside the bodice anyway. A smile came to his kissers as he spoke. His voice as smooth as honey but to deep to be feminine and to high to be a dark.
Thy dubbing is Devils Catastrophe. And my I know yours?

Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you when you think everything's going right. "Agradable encontrarte, Exclusive. Me llamo," Susurra answered without the fainest expression of knowing that she was speaking in Spanish. She did, however, catch herself before continuing. " Sorry about that." A bashful smile crept upon her velveteen. "Allow me to start over. Nice to meet you, Exclusive. My madre," a pause was taken as the young maiden searched for the right word, "blessed me with the name Susurra." In her soft manner, all was spoken with a musical accent. She sounded like she belonged to the Spanish coast with its ocean mist, salty sea, and golden sands. Perhaps she had been at one point, but it was lost within her own heart. The smile washed away slowly. Pools were trained on the horizon, until her last word. only then did she attempt to meet the knight's eye.
Craning her boa toward him, optics showed obvious bewilderment. That one so tall had greeted her was a mystery to her. She had not expected to have to tilt her dial all the way up, but so be it. "I wonder if his heart is as big as he. I suppose I shall find out soon, if not now. If it is, then I will truly regret that he came anywhere near me." Most lights would regret it if some black-hearted brute had come, but it was the opposite for Sura. She wanted no harm to come to those who ahd the ability to be kind to strangers. Though Sura did not know Exclusive, she respected him. For her, you did not have to earn respect. Instead, you started out with it. Susurra will not judge until you have let her see who you are. Then, and only then, will she decide if she should just walk away. ooc: Don't worry about it.

The large stallion listened carefully to her words. he had never before heard spanish language and was confused and in awe of the little mare. When she changed her language and he understood he noted how beautiful her voice was. He locked it in his memory for forever. He had respect for the mare. She was brave enough to come here and knowing she was smaller then the average.
What a beautiful name Miss Susurra.
And that it was. He hadn't heard such a creative and nice name in awhile. But it fit her. He allowed his orbs to look over her quickly. This he had not done yet. She was very beautiful in her own way. Her size didn't matter much to him now. He thought of her in his own terrain, but pushed that thought aside. He did not wish to push her, and he didn't even know what she wanted to do and she would not do something that would make her uncomfortable.

When he said her name was beautiful, it caught her off gaurd and she was left without something to say. While the maiden was collecting her thoughts, she nodded. Only her mother had ever called her name beautiful. Secretly she'd thought it was pretty, even if it had been just another source for the other foals to tease her about. Hot breathe was released in a sigh as Sura admitted to herself that she could think of no good reply.
"Thank you, but I have to so your own name has a little ring to it." Optics shone with ovbious happiness, though even she couldn't comprehend why. "Oh, I forgot to tell you that most who knew me just called me Sura. It's up to you, though, as I care not." Sussura smiled at him. She'd just noticed that when the sun hit him, the contrast of chestnut and white was amazing. She'd seen very few paints, as most of her family had been sorrel, but her mother was a buckskin. Sura's nerves had already eased from what they had been, which was racing.
It must've take some self-control to stand talking to someone as short as I. Sura's respect for him grew as he complimented her, and didn't even seem to mind the height difference. "So, Exclusive, where do you reside?" Casually spoken for one so curious to know whatever she could. ooc: My posts will get better; I'm just sludging through some writers block right now. ;D

OOC: I think they are very good. IC:
He almost chuckled as she complemented his name. He had never cared for it. But she was right. It fit him well being a rare colored paint. He smiled back at her as she asked her next question.
I have recently claimed a terrain called Cascade Mountains.
He hoped that it would impress her a little. He wanted her to like him. But he didn't want to sound like a show off. His orbs couldn't leave her beautiful crown. His auds were focused completely on her as he listened.
And you Sura?
He was glad that he had decided to make conversation. This was turning out to be the most pleasurable one he had had in a while. He hoped that she felt something the same.

Harks took in the sound of an eagle as it soared over head, but it was covered by the voice of the stallion. Attention was turned back to him, her pools of blue seeming to sparkle. "Cascade Mountain," Susurra let her thoughts become words as she flipped her tail at an annoying fly. "Sounds wonderful, and I imagine it must be. You ask where I reside, and I answer with this: I know only this land in such a big world, but I can't say that I think I live here. It's so unfamiliar and unprotected." For the first time since Exclusive had been here, Sura thought of her brother. The two were so alike, yet so different. Susurra couldn't explain it, but she knew that Acantilado would've liked Exclusive. A sudden pull at her heart made Sura return to reality.
" I would love to see Cascade Mountain, that is, if you'd show me." Susurra wouldn't gauruntee that she would stay, not because she didn't like Exclusive, but because she did. Mountains could be dangerous around her, especially for friends, not to mention herself. The shade of tree was dwindly as the sun rose to its peak. Though it was spring, it was starting to get that kind of hot that made you feel like you were going to melt. Miniscule beads of sweat were starting to form on her back already.

He was delighted when she asked. His orbs grew large and his nostrils falred with excitement. Oh how he hoped she would like it and stay. And if she didn't like mountains there was the valleys inbetween.
I would be more then delighted to show you my home.
It was quiet lonely without another one there with him. He was always alone. Always searching for company. Being a horse he enjoyed herds. Being alone was not good. OOC: sorry. SHort post.

Sapphire eyes blinked slowly, pleased with his answer. A serene smile danced 'pon her veleveteen as the maiden took in a deep breath. "Lead on, Exclusive." A nod of her head told him that she'd follow him, but she wouldn't walk with him. It was bad enough she'd even had this long of a conversation. Now she had even more of a reason to stay, but what did it matter if she knew her brother would've liked him? Everything was going to be alright, hopefully. 'Please don't let one o fus fall to our untimely death...Please?' Sura payed close attention to her surrenoundings, trying to find a sign that something was going to go wrong. Nothing, not even a vulture was there to discourage her. "When you're ready." ooc: No problem.

He nodded lightly and walked towards the sun. Because of the clear air the sun was very bright and he decided to go through some trees that would shade them. He kept walking hoping that she was okay with the pace. He had to keep reminding himself that she was not definatly going to stay with him. The chance was probably thin. But he would think about that later. Alls he could do now was hope she would like him as much as he liked her.
OOC: could you please start a thread?
