Coastal Aura strode through the short grass, picked away at by others who had been here before her. The horizon was touched by rays, as the new sun ose to meet to wrld. It's pallid light cast a hazy glow about the landscape, just enough to light Auras coat of dappled grey like white fire, with swirls of coal running through it. Pausing along her path, she twisted her crest to gaze across the landscape, eyeing the sun. Soon it would warm away the mysteries and enchantments of the night.
Mist still clung to trees, pooling and merging together in the large clearings that dotted this area. It swirled around Auras hooves as she strode forwards, orbs dancing across tree and plants, searching for another sign of life. So far, there was none. Sighing wistfully she continued aimlessly, hoozes absently meandering her about trees. Palnts seemed to strain up to brush past her legs, dew drops still clinging hopefully from the night. It dampened the fur above her hooves. Would she wonder alone forever? Or finally, would someone seek her out and claim her? Questions snaked neverending through her mind, each unanswered as she stepped into a larger meadow.
Tossing her mane to rid herself of the damp bestowed to her from the mist. Pushing her weight backwards she rose to meet the sky, balancing carefully on her backlegs in a rear. Pointing her muzzle towards the sky, she let onehaunting neigh push past her teeth. It rebounded off of the hills and rocks, filling the empty space she stood in, where only grass seemed to live. An echo rung vagely in her ears, fading to a mere whisper, then, nothing. Motionless body poised she let the breeze sift through her creamy white mane and tail. Was there nobody?
