Star’s ears twitch as a voice of a mare came to her. She admit she was a bit depressed. Sighing she looked the mare right in the eyes, only to see that this mare before her, could not see. Star knew this was going to be hard, to speak with this mare more the others, however Star knew they would get alone, for they both shared a problem. Tossing her mane back she reach out to the mare with her muzzle and then nudge her slightly and then it turned into a nuzzle. Star would not speak to her, answer her question or anything. She sighed, not sure how to tell this mare what was on her mind. Pawning at the earth and taking her stand again she felt a hard kick to her ribs and then great pain after it. Giving that face, she knew it was time.
Another voice came to her and she saw Dissolve. She gave a sigh again but did not pay any mind to his words. Her tail twitch and she took to both as more pain came to her. While she was gone, she hope that the stallion would explained to the blind mare, why she did not talk. Dissolve was welcomed to follow but she did not like the idea, feeling a bit awake. She then took off, trying to make it just in time.

Stallion watched after her, worried. What could be wrong with her? Was it time already? It had been quite a while since the bred, but it seemed like such a short time ago. Well, as they say: time flies when you're having fun.
Pistons took a few steps towards the second fleeing fae, but decided to wait a moment...see what happened. He had seen the pained expression on her face. She needed privacy. He had learend several years ago that when a fae birthed, she wished to do it alone.
My poor love... He sighed. Quietly he turned to his first love, Cyclone. She can't speak. I'm not sure just what happened to her, but with the way she acted when I first met her, it must have been something traumatic. Sorrow tweaked the brute's lyrics. It seems all of my mares have had a painful past. He half-heartedly chuckled, almost unaudibly. Never before had he had a fae that was not what one would call...normal or plain...of course, there was nothing normal about any equine. But these three...they were the most unique faes he had ever seen, and he had never been more in love with any belle before than he was with the three he had now. Perhaps it was because he could relate to them more, or perhaps it was just because they were themselves. The most beautiful, amazing mares he had ever seen, hidden in broken and sorrow-filled souls. And they were his. He couldn't have been more blessed.

She lowered her head. She is in foal isn't she. She missed foals. She remember having had three, and how she had loved them all, none more or less than the other, just, all differently. She smiled at the memories. Some good, some bad. She missed them all dearly. She looked at him, and gave kind of a sad smiled. She'd lived a relatively long life. And an exciting one at that. She now turned to look in the direction the mare had gone. She looked back toward the white and dark blur before her. It is going to be difficult for us to communicate. She can't talk, I can't see. She frowned, showing that there was more on her mind than that.

Stag smiled softly, nodding. She is in foal...possibly having the baby right now. A sense of pride glimmered in the stallion's words. Having foals with his loves was one of the best things he could imagine. Their children would be so beautiful, and would be raised by the most beautiful of faes. The sadness in Cyclone's lyrics worried Dissolve. He figured it had been a while since she had had a foal of her own, that she could raise. What if...
Thoughts were interupted by her next comment. Indeed, it would be hard for them to communicate. A blind and a mute...not the easiest of scenarios. I will be here to help you with that. He assured her. He wouldn't leave his faes, and would never allow them to be taken from him. And as long as they were his to love, he would be there for them.
Train of thought suddenly went back on course. Foals. Silhouette...Dancer...was probably still to fragile to have a little one...but Cyclone. He had wanted to have a child with her since he had first met her. He loved her so much.
Would you like to have a foal? He asked kindly. He would, of course, understand if she did not. But if she did, it would be wonderful.

She looked up at him with surprise. She had always loved foals. Maybe she could still have one, even though she was older. She smiled, Yeah, maybe i would. She smiled. This made her happy. She smiled again and nudged him. Yes. She said more deffinitely. I would LOVE a foal. She bobbed her head a bit. An obvious yes. She looked at the sky, it was bright, so she assumed there weren't many clouds, so it wouldn't be raining any time soon. She smiled happily, and looked back at the blur she had now come to know as Dissolve.

Gleefully, stallion mimicked the bob. He pranced in a small circle like a new colt testing his legs for the first time. Thank you. He said happily, nuzzling her. Before he could completely focus on the task, pistons had carried him behind the fae, his haunches gathering.
Fade to Black
Fade Out of Black
I can't believe it. He whispered, carressing Cyclone's muscular nape. Our own little one. What do you think it will be...a boy, or girl? he wondered. And what color would it be? And who's build would it inherit? His dainty, elegant posture, or her muscular, regal appearance? And what would it's temperment be? He had so many questions. It was as if he had never had a foal before! Which was not true, but no foal was the same, so each birthing was like his first.

She laughed. I have no way of nowing whether it will be a boy or girl. Which would you prefer? She smiled, personally, she hoped a fea would come. She'd had her experience with both, but the colts always were more of a handfull and the fillies. She smiled and remembered the various foals she had taken up in her past. She was happy now that she was going to be having a foal again. She was estatic now. She couldn't wait! She nudged him happily. She looked back the way star had gone, and thought to herself, she wondered how she was doing. She smiled and looked back to Dissolve. This will be great.

Stallion thought for a moment. He wanted a son, so he would have an heir to his land. But he also wanted a daughter...he always had a fondness for fillies. They were always so gentle and sweet, and very good natured. Definitely the easiest of little ones to care for. I believe... He pondered for a moment. I believe I would be content with either gender. Though raising a filly would be magnificent. He hoped she was happy with his answer...that she, too, wanted a little girl.

She smiled happily. Well, with my experience, fillies are much easier to handle than colts. But I too, will be more than happy with either. She nudged hiim again. This was so exciting. She looked around, at the blur of the world, and suddenly, she thought of something, and frowned. Would she even be able to SEE the foal? She lowered her head. What if I can't even see it. What if it's all one color? The only way i see you is the blur of colors on you. What if it's all one color? I won't be able to see it...

He nuzzled her, muzzle resting on her nape comfortingly. Don't worry, milove. Sight is not everything. You will be able to see what color it is, and that is all that matters. Patterns, markings, they don't matter much. As long as you can see, feel, hear, and touch the little cherub. Brute tried to comfort her, and he prayed his mini-speach helped her. After all, she could make out general colors. And it wouldn't hold her back from loving and caring for the foal. It will be alright, midear. I promise. He did promise. She would, in some way, be able to see the foal. He knew it.
(so...she gonna die? then he can live with the guilt of breaking his promise to her! yay for dramatic, tortorous, horrible endings!!!!!!!! lol. why is it always so fun to ruin the lives of characters you love most? that i don't get, and probably never will. lol)

She nodded. She knew he was right of course. She nudged him again. She frowned again though, she hadn't thought of any of this before. I need you to be there with me though. When it happens. I'm not as young as I used to be. She smiled. She was a little worried, but she knew it would all work out in the end. She just hoped it all ended the way she wanted it to. She looked at him again, she was being rediculous. She was nervous already.

(she has a right to be, lol)
Tassle siddled (tee hee, siddled, tee hee) up next to her. Dial rested lovingly on belle's poll, reaching as high as he could. He hated being short. Hopefully his little one would gain his mare's beauty. She was, indeed, a marvelous creature, only made more beautiful by what she had been through. A certain wisdom gleamed in her orbs that would not have been there if her past had been different. It added a mystical brilliance to her. It changed her posture, her personality, her thoughts. It purified them, made them more respectable and royal, in a way, than ever could have been thought imaginable. Of course I will be there. He assured her.

She smiled, and turned to nudge him. Thankyou. I don't know what I'd do without you now. She looked up at the sky. It was beginning to darken. That meant one of two things, storm, or night. She didn't know which one, she'd lost track of time sense they'd been here. Is it just cloudy? Or is the sky darkening as night falls. She hated her lost of site again. She looked over to him, to see what he would say. She looked at his disapearing figure. It would soon be almost impossible to see him. But not yet. She looked out across the meadow, seeing nothing, which didn't surprise her. She knew that soon, her vision would slide away into nothing, but untill then...she stoped thinking about it, and instead tried to picture the foal. But she couldn't picture something she'd never seen. She smiled though, and looked bacd towards Dissolve.

Brute paused a moment, hesitating to answer. He, personally, was not sure. The sun was setting, but all was darkened by the clouds. The billowing threats didn't seem too large...not large enough to contain a full storm, anyway. Perhaps a light rain, a strong cloudburst at most. It's both, actually. He laughed softly. Clouds cover the darkened sky. But I do not believe they are storm clouds. Merely a drizzle. Smile played on his lips. She was so beautiful and sweet. He didn't deserve her, he knew. He was nowhere near a perfect stallion, something he had never been proud of. But one could not change the past, only tolerate it.

Cyclone smiled. She lowered her head and took a bite of the grass below her. Then she smiled and looked at Dissolve. I just thought of something. You know all of my past. But I know nothing of yours. She smiled, a bit mischeiviously. Now, that's hardly fair. She smiled and niped at his mane playfully. She was in a good mood, and she didn't want to loose it.
