She snorted, and frowned, It stings a bit. But I'll live...Are you sure you're alright? She had heard the way he'd had his clenched his teeth when he spoke, it changed his voice. You can't hide things from me. I hear changes, in voice, that some might not notice. She smirked. Sometimes she loved being part blind, it had increased her hearing a bit, and she noticed little noises, that she'd always heard, just hadn't paid attention too. She nudged him lightly. She decided the time had come to lie down. She did so, and quickly noticed how damp the cave was. She looked around, not that she could see anything, but it smelled of water, and sounded like water dripping somewhere near the back of the little cave. She looked up at Dissolve.

For a moment he smiled at his stupidity. She had said before that she could hear well. It's a sprain. It should be better in a day or so. He admitted. Watching her auds turn backwards, followed by her dial, he followed her glance. Behind him a small stream of water flowed from a crack in the roof. It must be the rain seeping through a hole in the mountainside. He explained.

She nodded. Water. Was all she said. she looked out the cave, it was completely dark for her. No light once so ever. What's it like out there? she wanted to know. Something was getting loud. And the air pressure was dropping, causing her ears to pop. What was going on? She stood, and took a few steps toward the mouth of the cave, but she didn't dare go out. She listened, and she smelled. But right now, more than anything, she wanted to see.

Orbs squinted, struggling to see. Darkness had fallen quickly, but the sky was unmistakably visible. It was a sickly green color, clouds thick and seemingly swirling. Oh no... Dissolve muttered. He knew what this weather was...he had seen it several times. The sky...it's green...milove...I think there's going to be a tornado. The lyrics rose threateningly. Tornadoes were not a good thing...not at all...

She frowned. As soon as he'd said the sky was green she'd known what it was. Will we be safe here? She had heard of the thundering swirls, but had not ever come into contact with one. This did not make her very happy. Not at all. She looked at where his voice had come. She was almost competely blind as there was no light much. She could just barely see his white shape beside her. She lowered her head. She felt so vulnerable, she knew they wouldn't be able to run far with out her being able to see...at all. She turned and went to the back of the cave and laid down. There was no use in even trying. She'd just slow them up, and they'd be caught. Might as well just stay here.

Frightened and upset, stag walked alongside her as she moved deeper into the cavern. He stood over her as she rested, orbs cast outside. The clouds were beginning to take the shape needed, now. So far the funnel was small, but Dissolve had seen them grow faster than one could imagine. If any place in my terr is safe during a twister, He assured. It would be here. With how deep this cave goes, and how it slopes slightly underground, I believe no harm shall come to us. Fear in his lyrics was replaced by confidence. Now that he could see just how deep the alcove went, he was sure they would be safe...from death at least. Most likely, if the tornado went overhead, they would be fired at with debris and torrential wind, but they would not be killed by the tornado alone.

She looked up at where his voice came from. Is the ceiling strong enough for it to last through if it goes directly over head? There was a sadened tone to her voice. Right now, her world was completely black. She frowned, and turned her head toward the sound of water that was near by. She narrowed the area down, and went to where she thought it would be, she missed, and she listened. She was close. She moved her head forward a bit, and hit the cold liquid. She took a quick sip, and looked up to where Dissolve should be.
(wow. It's hard rping a blind horse...now I should make a deaf one! lol. )

(now that would be hard. lol)
Hm... Brute reared, talons pounding on the low-laying roof. The only sound was a soft thump. The ground didn't sound thin, and obviously not hollow. I believe we'll be safe. He assured her. The overhang had seemed thick when he had first gotten a look on the outside. Dial lowered, tongue lapping at the small river of water flowing out of the cave.

She didn't say anything. She frowned, and laid her head down on the ground. The sound of the thing outside was getting much louder, leading her to believe that it was coming closer. She closed her eyes, like anything changed. It was black outside, and it was black inside. Whether or not she closed her eyes. She hated her eyes, but there was nothing she could do about it. But she did get one thing out of this. Dissolve loved her, even without the eyes, and with the scars...he still loved her. She smiled at that thought. She realized that if the fire hadn't come, they wouldn't have met. She opened her eyes, but there wasn't really a change from when she had them closed. She raised her head, and faced the opening of the cave...what was going on out there?

Dissolve kept a watchful eye outside while his mare rested. Every few moments he would look back and smile, then focus again on the danger outside. As the moments passed, the funnel grew in size and length until it touched the earth. By that time, brute couldn't see either end of the twister unless he ventured outside the cavern, and he dare not do that. The vortex moved closer, growing louder with every moment. Dicolored stilts trembled, threatening to bring down the large equine they held up. Orbs widened, their white rims, lining the outer edges. For a moment, hessian felt he should flee should he wish to live, but something stopped him. For a moment, he swore he saw the edge of the tornado. There it was again! This time, the lighter color of air shimmered into the cave. Cyclone, we're going to be okay! Dissolve triumphantly cheered. It's moving to the side, away from us!

Cyclone listened, then very cautiously and carefully rose to her feet, and she turned toward where the sound came from. She looked around, but of course, saw nothing. She was still geting used to that sometimes. She carefully walked to where the voice had come from, and nearly stumbled over a loose bolder near the edge of the cave, but in the end, she made it to him. What do you mean? What's going on? She still heard the crazy noiseds coming from outside the cave, and it scared her. She was for once in her life glad that she couldn't see. She pawed the earth with the hoof she'd hit.

Dial turned to his fae. Deep orbs scanned her, making sure she wasn't hurt. The twister is moving to the side. The winds are carrying it away from us. He explained. Brute drew a little closer to the cavern entrance, but only a few steps. He didn't want to leave his femme, or make a deadly mistake in going too far. The gale was still roaring loudly, and debris was starting to penetrate the barrier entrance, but there was still hope.

She smiled, but it soon faded as she noticed a sound. Back away from the entrance. it wasn't the sound of the tornado, it was the sound of something slightly smaller, but still just as deadly if someone was hit by it. She heard it's leafless branches getting snaped by the wind as it flew through the air. Back away from the entrance!! She said again, almost yelling this time, she could tell it was getting closer, and she took several steps backwords untill her rump hit a wall of a cave. This caused her to jump, startled that it had been that close. Surely that wasn't as far as they could go. Her useless eyes were wide with fear, for only she could hear the coming danger...

Attention focused on the twister, stag for a moment did not hear his belle. Her lyrics had reached his auds, but not his mind. Orbs squinted, concentrating on a large object visible in the cloud of dust and debris. Listeners pinned. Again his fae spoke to him, this time in a shout. Her words startled him...she was terrified. As she had told him, he began to move deeper into the cavern. Dial turned to the fae, an odd look in lord's optics. What is...
Before his sentence could be finished, something sharp struck his back. What seemed to be mini daggers battered his pelt, entangling him in their hilts. A flash of green shocked his chasms for a moment, then a long, brown object ensued. It lasted a mere second, if that, but the impact seemed to move in slow motion, every movement taking seeming to take several minutes.
And then there was black.
(OOC: dun dun dun...lol)

She heard something his something, but she didn't know what had happened. She closed her eyes and lowered her head. She was terrified. D-Dissolve? Are you o..ok? She asked nervously. She was about to freak out, she was about to freak out now, and she didn't know for sure if everyone was ok...
She stood there trembelling, and not knowing what had happened. This was worse than the flood and the fires. This was even worse than the wolves. She couldn't see to know what had happened, she had no way of knowing if Dissolve was alright. She listened hard to see if there was ANY noise coming from the invisible stag.
