Sowly brute came to. Pain shot through his back and legs. Dial turned painfully to the side, inspecting the damage. Blood leaked from several minor wounds, but the worst was delt to his head. Thick, red liquid streamed down his cheek like a mini river. What had happened? Dissolve stood, being gentle on the injured stilts. What the crap...? He wondered aloud. How had this happened? A loud...yet dull roar filled his auds, and optics flicked to look outside. A thick cloud of brown hovered outside, moving away. Crown jerked away from the tornado. That was probably what had caused his injuries. Beside him, Cyclone stood. Her chasms showed she was terrified. Everything okay? He asked her, oblivious to the branch in the shadows next to him, dripping some of his blood.

Dissolve..... She still trembled. Perhaps she would have been alright if she'd seen what had happened, but she had no idea what had happened. A-Are you ok? She said quietly. She was scared, and her heart was racing, her useless eyes were wide with fear. Her voice was kind of shaky as well. She looked around, searching for the voice that had spoken. The fact that she couldn't see him scared her even more. What if he was lieing on the ground injured! She didn't know what to do. She was this close to panicing.

Dicolored piston dug in the ground in attempt to alert the femme of his position, and show her that he was standing. I will be. He assured her. A few cuts, plenty of bruises I'm sure. The worst is to my head, and the bleeding is slowing. The flow had begun to clot...not much, but it wasn't bursting from him like a broken dam. Orbs began scanning the cavern, searching for what had hit him. The last thing he remembered, he was excited over...something. A feeling of safety had overwhelmed him...and that was it. What was it that had made him so happy, and what the crap had banged him up so bad?? What...happened? He asked, clearly embarassed.

She gasped as she heard his hoof hit the floor. But it was a relieved gasp. She then listened intently, getting more and more worried by the second. She looked toward the sound, and frowned. Then when he asked her what happened, she almost got mad. You ask the blind horse what happened? Man, my ears may be good, but they ain't THAT good. She frowned. It probably sounded bad, but she hadn't mean't it the way it sounded. She looked toward the voice. I'm...sorry...

Brute pauses solemnly for a moment. He hadn't meant the question to be like that. He had meant for it more to be rhetorical, or maybe if she heard anything, or if she got hurt. No...I'm sorry. He lowered his dial in guilt. I meant...I didn't mean it like that. I just...it was sort of rhetorical, and sort of asking if you got hit. I'm sorry. Lyrics hesitated for a moment. A-are you okay? Brute was scared to hear the answer. If she wasn't, he would feel horrible. He should have protected her. But if she was...she might be concentrated enough to be mad at him for not asking earlier...or...he didn't want to leave it up to her to take care of him, and he didn't want her to worry about him. Either way, for him, the answer might not be a good thing. Of course, it would be better if she was uninjured, obviously. He would never want to see his love hurt.

She frowned. I know. I'm sorry. I knew that, I just, it's all been, i didn't mean, I. OH forget it. I didn't mean it that way either. I knew what you meant, it just poped into my head and I didn't think before i talked. She looked at him, and steped over towards him carefully, not knowing where he was, and touched his coat. She smiled, and found his face, then nudged him. I really didn't mean it...and I know you didn't mean it the way I took it. She smiled. And yes. I'm fine...a little...no a lot scared...but other than that.

Stag listened quietly, happy that she was not angry at him. As she spoke, he lovingly smiled at her. As she brushed him, he nuzzled back. Brute was grateful that she nudged the side of his face that was not bleeding. Otherwise, she would have had a red nose. Thank heavens you are okay. He greatfully claimed. Now, let's get farther back so we will be safe until the vortex passes. He laughed. Hessian hobbled a few steps. Making sure his side was brushing his fae's, he took a few more. Body swayed with limps. His front cannon still screamed with pain from the sprain, and now his hind legs stung with cuts. Oh well. Nothing time wouldn't fix.

She nodded, and walked along side him, When we get there, you are going to lay down. Otherwise you are going to hurt worse than you are. She felt useless without her eyes, but she could still help HIM feel better. She nudged him as they walked, and soon, their footsteps began to echo and it kind of hurt her ears, and made it difficult to hear anything else. She clinched her eyes closed, like it would help drown it out...but of course it didn't, but she still kept her eyes closed. She triped on yet another loose rock, and lost contact with Dissolve, but she caught herself, and just barely kept from falling. Dissolve?

Startled by the sudden absense of pressure on his side, stag stopped in his tracks. Cranium turned, and orbs found his fae recovering her steps. Auds heard her call his name, and pistons carried him backwards. Again side pressed against hers. I'm right here, milove. He cooed. Muzzle nuzzled her nape, and brute led her to the edge of the cavern just a few paces away. As told, stilts folded beneath him and carcass rested against the cool earth.

She nudged him when he found her, and she smiled as they walked in the darkness. After he layed down, she layed down beside him. She looked down at her leg, it was a little soar from the stumbles she'd had in the cave, and she nudged it. Then, she found she was rather tired, so she layed her head down on the damp cave. Why are caves always damp! She thought to herself. Everycave she had ever been in were always wet. She frowned and looked toward where they had come from. She still heard the roaring danger outside. She picked her head up and layed it on Dissolves back. This was going to be a long night.

(don't you hate damp caves! there is a reason why they are always so damp, but i will spare you the science lesson. lol)
Stag watched the outside for what seemed like hours. Crown turned when his fae lay her head in the curve of his back. Are you alright, midear? He asked, refering to both her leg and emotional self. The roar of the twister had grown duller, but it still remained. The danger was long gone...the tornado had moved probably a few miles away by now. Slowly the sky cleared, revealing, bit by bit, a star-filled night. Crystals glinted like a beacon of safety. All would be safe soon.

She smiled, I'm alright. She rememered his injuries. How are you? She looked toward him, and thought for a minute. Why do I even bother looking around. All I see is darkness. I can't even see swirls of color on you. Everything is black. She frowned. Then realized she hadn't given him a chance to answer her question. Oh well, he would if anything was wrong.

Stag flashed a small smile. He wasn't surprised she looked around. After all, old habits die hard. I'm alright. He insisted. You probably look around because of habit. And, it shows everyone around you that you are, in fact, paying attention to what they say. Or are trying to anyway. Brute chuckled, and nuzzled her crown. Anyway, let's get some sleep. It's finally becoming quiet, and it's late. I'll stay up for a while longer. Make sure there's nothing else to worry about.

She nodded, and nudged him back. Well, don't stay up too late. She nudged him again, and rested her head on his back again. And don't get up suddenly either. That happened to my son once, and his head fell flat on the ground. It was really quite funny, that was before I lost my sight. She laughed at the story, and closed her eyes. She flicked her ears toward as she listened to the roaring Tornado dull as it went off into the distance. She flicked one ear toward Dissolve unless he said something. But soon, it didn't really mader because she soon fell asleep.

Stag smiled. Yes mother. He replied, chuckling slightly. Muzzle carressed belle's nape gently, then again focused on the cave enterance. The wind was still blowing slightly. It made a soft whistle as it's cool fingers reached into the cave, but never reaching the equi. Orbs closed thoughtfully. Brute couldn't wait for tomorrow when he introduced the faes to each other.
(yay! lol)
